What to bring?

Please bring the following items to Ski School. It is essential that your student has everything on this list for the best experience.
  • Skis or Snowboard
  • Season Pass or Pass (if you have it already)
  • Boots and Gloves
  • Helmet & Goggles
  • Snow Pants and Jacket
  • Base Layer
  • Lunch and dinner or money for lunch/dinner. Money can be loaded on the child's lift pass through the mystevens.com/Epic acct for mountain purchases.
  • Plenty of drinking water for the bus ride.
  • HEADPHONES!
  • Portable phone charger (decent ones available for < $20)

  • Your skis/board will go under the bus. It is best to have them in a bag.
  • Everything else goes on the bus with you in a carry-on bag (or two small ones) that is/are small enough to fit under your seat or under your feet.
  • DO NOT put your boots or helmet in the bag with your skis or board.
  • Make sure your pass is zipped into your jacket pocket. (If you do not have your pass already, your chaperone will hand it to you on the bus, ferry or at the mountain.)
  • Students usually wear their base layer under their clothes, and then change into their outer gear on the bus when they reach the mountain.
  • Electronic devices (iPods, etc...) are okay to bring, but remember that buses are not a secure place to leave them. Lockers are available in the lodges.  Bring a portable phone charger, as cold weather rapidly depletes a phone charge.
  • If you bring a bag lunch, do not leave it on the bus, put it in the food sleds, or bring it up to the Pacific Crest Lodge. You will not be able to access the buses during the day.  You can leave gear in the Pacific Crest lodge with our group or rent a locker.  You can leave your dinner (if packed) on the bus.
